Overview

Redesigned the Farifax website experience to cater to both newcomers and regular attendees based on regular feedback collected by staff.

  • Integrated relevant news and events into the homepage experience
  • Introduced a news ticker to callout and scroll through important announcements, like snow closures or service time changes, at the bottom of the screen
  • Reconstructed sub-community pages to feature relevant content and events
  • Led the team to design integrated, highly polished forms to increase user time on the site and chances they would actually fill it out
  • Built out a ‘Plan Your Visit’ page to illustrate a guest’s typical journey to eliminate uncertainty when visiting for the first time
  • Secured the site’s long overdue vulnerabilities by transferring hosting services
